360 Feedback

What is 360 Feedback?
360 feedback is a comprehensive, anonymous view of how your working associates view your abilities in particular areas (eg. decision making), specified by your organization.

How does it work?
The individual being assessed provides The Spear Group with a list of people he/she wishes to complete the questionnaire. This list should include people at all levels within his/her organization that have contact with the participant (eg. supervisor, self, direct reports, peers, internal customers, etc.). The client then contacts all of the individuals to let them know they have been chosen to participate in this process. The Spear Group will send out the questionnaire to the chosen participants, and they return the filled out questionnaire to us. All of the information is then compiled into a report.

How can a 360 benefit you?
The participant learns how he/she is perceived by others in a non-threatening way. Because it is anonymous, it allows chosen participants to be candid and share their true feelings. Opinions of certain groups are also consolidated so that the individual can see how the perception of the ‘direct reports’ differs from that of the individual’s ‘peers’. The individual’s self-perception is also compared to others’ opinions, which allows the client to see how differently he/she views him/herself.

A 360 gives participants targeted information to increase effectiveness and they are often surprised and very pleased by the positive comments colleagues share.
